The Jackson Square Tavern is a family-run/owned restaurant catering to families, to regulars and of course, to new customers.  The “Tavern” is  owned and operated by Mike and Cathy Stokes, both lifetime Weymouth residents.  The building is a familiar landmark in lower Jackson Square.  It has been the Commercial House (or the “C” House), The Herring Run Pub and Christina’s prior to the Stokes’ proprietorship. The transformation took many years of restoration, renovation and hard work building a great menu, wonderful staff and a reputation for good food and service – it’s the kind of place where you can relax and enjoy a family meal or enjoy some down time with friends while catching the “game.” The restaurant has 4 flat screen TV’s,  two Keno TV’s, an ATM machine,  and a fireplace in the bar area.
