The Jackson Square Tavern is a neighborhood restaurant/tavern catering to families, regulars and of
course, to new customers. The “Tavern” has been in operation since 1997. The building is a
familiar landmark in lower Jackson Square. It has been known as the Commercial
House (or the “C” House), The Herring Run Pub and Christina’s prior to becoming the Jackson Square Tavern.
It’s the kind of
place where you can relax and enjoy a family meal or enjoy some down
time with friends while catching the “game.” It offers daily lunch and dinner specials, a Senior menu and Kids menu.
In September 2013, Chef Varney took over ownership. Varney has been the Chef at the Jackson Square Tavern for 6 years and knows how to please the customers. Your support is greatly appreciated!
The restaurant has 4 flat screen TV’s, two Keno TV’s, an ATM machine, and a fireplace in the bar area.
